In the first episode of Hollands Got Talent A lot of special talent is coming in again, but Coleen stands head and shoulders above the rest. He calls himself “The Netherlands’ fastest singer-songwriter”. “I haven’t set anything up, but I can come up with songs very quickly around what you want,” he explains. “I will write a song right away and the jury will decide on the topic.”

The jury doesn’t make it easy for him, of course: he’s the first to be asked to sing something about the red button on the show. A topic that doesn’t necessarily lend itself to a song, but Colin still manages to sing about the red bell in Dutch with passion. The judges were so impressed that they decided to let him sing another song. This time the subject is familiar faces on TV and he has to switch to English. This is also going so well for him that the judges unanimously agreed that he could move on to the next round.

Mark Marie Hoygbrigits is impressed not only by the fact that Coleen can come up with a song so quickly, but also with his voice: “You sing great too!” Dan Carrate is also a fan: “I’m curious about what happens next, because I think the possibilities are endless.”
