Portal-like puzzle game The Entropy Center to be released in 2022 – Games – News

Game developer Stubby Games has revealed a first-person puzzle game very reminiscent of the Portal games. Using a special weapon, the main character can manipulate the world and turn back time for certain things.

The title, called The Entropy Center, is set on a space station facing Earth. It is up to the heroine, with the help of artificial intelligence in her “weapon”, to generate entropy by solving puzzles. This entropy must be used to save the world, which has become so hot that large parts of its surface are covered with lava.

The similarities with Portal are numerous. The game world is simple, white and in a state of decline. Big cubes and jumps play a role in the puzzles. The main character has an artificial intelligence nearby who talks to her a lot, even though she seems to have good intentions.

As far as we know, this is the first game from the maker of Stubby Games. The studio looks new. No additional information could be found. a British Chamber of Commerce Reports Page The headquarters of the company is in Brighton. Publisher Playstack is based in London.
