Vos won his second World Cup in the United States

Marion Vos has won the third Cyclocross World Cup in Iowa. The 34-year-old captain of the team Jumbo-Wisma handled his opponents firmly and crossed the unique line after eight laps in a fast-paced course.

Denis Betssema took second and Hungary’s Katta Blanca Vass took third. World champion Lucinda was fourth just over 1 minute ahead of Brand Vose, with Buck Peters (fifth) and Annemarie Worst (sixth).

Voss was the best at Waterloo last week. Last Wednesday he finished fourth in Fayetteville. That position was won by the brand. Voss is now leading the World Cup rankings.

Vos got off to a fantastic start in Iowa. She took the lead immediately, and then took the lead for a while. At the start of the fourth round, Vos was joined by Betsyma, who then continued fiercely. On one lap, Blanca Vaz and Worst joined the lead pair.

Without the sausage, Blanca Vaz, Vos and Betsyma would go on the hunt for success together. Due to an ace, Blanca Vaz had to leave and two Dutch women started side by side in the eighth and final round. Vos quickly launched an attack, after which she ended up without risk. Betshema crossed the finish line 10 seconds behind the winner.
