The USC Trojans have been 6-0 against the Colorado Buffaloes since November 2015, and they will have a chance to extend that success on Friday. USC and Colorado will face off in a Pac-12 Battle at 9:30 p.m. ET at United Airlines Stadium in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans know how to get points on the board – the team has finished with flashy points totals in the past three games – so I hope Colorado will love a good challenge.

Even if it wasn’t the dominant performance, USC beat the California Golden Bears 41-35 last Saturday. USC’s QB Caleb Williams He did what he does and passed for four TDs and 360 yards in 41 attempts as well as a dash for TD and 38 yards. Toss Williams’ 59-yard to WR Michael Jackson III In the third quarter, it made for one of the night’s most memorable moments.

Meanwhile, a rough afternoon started for Buffalo last Saturday, and it ended that way too. It’s hard to imagine a loss worse than their 49-10 bruise against the Oregon Ducks. Colorado was in a difficult position in the first half, with the score 28-7. The Colorado defeat came despite the quality of the match from WR Jordan Tyson, who had five passes for one TD and 137 yards. One of the most exciting moments was Tyson’s reception for 81 yards TD in the second quarter.

Trojans are a favorite in this, with an expected margin of victory of 34 points (!). There can be an interesting gamble in this game, as they have done very well against spread at home this season while the Buffaloes have struggled against spread on the road.

USC’s win lifted the team to 8-1 while the Colorado defeat dropped it to 1-8. Allowing an average of 40.22 points per game, Colorado hasn’t exactly imposed itself on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch the holes in their defense before the next game.
