Great joy for the ten Ebenlan residents who won prizes in the mail lottery. They are allowed to divide one million euros into the equivalent of fifteen lottery tickets. Good for 66,666 euros per lot.
The checks were submitted earlier this week by Gaston Starreveld of the Postcode lottery. Among other things, a young family’s doorbell rang with one ticket. They were confused. Someone buys a lottery ticket with the idea that there will probably be no price for it at all. Until that happens one day. “What are we going to do with the money? No idea really. We’re not material at all, we don’t have a destination for that yet.” His wife knows: “Buy a seasonal spot at a campground and do fun things with the two kids.”
Elm Avenue resident Edwin was surprised with a check for €266,000. When asked where the money would go, he said, “I’d like to get a new kitchen, pay off a portion of my house, take a trip and maybe a new car.” Another resident received 133,333 euros. What will you do with it? I want a new bathroom with bubble bath and new toilet. It should work with this. New Year’s Eve winners can be seen on The Masked Singer Old & New Special on RTL 4.
The Postal Lottery prize package, totaling €56.7 million this year, includes the €1 million SuperPostcode prize. A maximum of 22 participants will win amounts ranging from €33,333 to €100,000, depending on the number of tickets they play with.
