Samsung Galaxy S22 (FE), Galaxy S22 Plus en Galaxy S22 Ultra officieel gelanceerd.

After many alleged delays, the Galaxy S21 FE was launched in early January and there has been a lot of uncertainty about its successor so far, with the latest rumors casting doubt on its existence. The Galaxy S22 FE may not be dead as a new rumor says it is coming soon. Rumors started circulating in March that the S22 FE would be powered by MediaTek chipsets. Subsequent rumors said that the device had been scrapped and that the lack of leaks also indicated that Samsung was not working on the phone.

I worked on it in silence

Emerging leaker @OreXda said that we should expect Galaxy S22 FE and Galaxy Buds 2 Live soon and the rumor is supported by famous tipster Dohyun Kim. A few days ago, it was reported that Samsung will cancel the mid-range Galaxy A7x series and there will be no Galaxy A74. Separately, there was talk that while Samsung was working on the Exynos 2300 chipset, it wouldn’t power the Galaxy S23 chipset.

Galaxy S22 FE replaces the Galaxy A74

All of these rumors are starting to make sense now. RGcloudS, also a new leaker, tweeted yesterday that the Galaxy S22 FE will replace the Galaxy A74. They also said that the phone will be powered by Exynos 2300 and will have a 108MP sensor. This would be a huge step forward from the Galaxy S21 FE, which has a 12MP main sensor, and could help the S22 FE become one of the best camera phones of 2023.

RGcloudS has also suggested that the Galaxy S22 FE will cost the same as the A73, which was only launched in a few countries at around €500. For reference, the Galaxy S21 FE had a starting price of €700.

You’d better take these leaks with a big helping of salt because we haven’t seen any concrete leaks about the Galaxy S22 FE yet and we all know that Samsung isn’t the best at keeping secrets.
