After an evening full of joy and magic at the state banquet, Queen Máxima and Queen Letizia’s day in Amsterdam begins. The queens visit the gathering place in Nieuw-West where activities are organized for young people aged 12 to 23 years. The conversations this morning are about mental health in young people. The two queens are also introduced to various initiatives for youth.

The queens were informed of several initiatives.

For this occasion, Queen Máxima wears a vintage pink coat designed by fashion designer Claes Iversen. Queen Letizia chose a colorful combination of orange-red dress with a sweet pink cape. Letizia dress designed by Carolina Herrera.

Queen Máxima also accompanies her Spanish colleague to the Royal Tuscinski Theater in Amsterdam. The 10th anniversary of the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival is being celebrated there. This film festival aims to promote mutual cultural awareness through Spanish and Latin American cinema in the Netherlands.

Royal visit!

Meanwhile in The Hague

Meanwhile, the two heads of state are not standing still. Yesterday King Willem-Alexander and King Felipe showed how sportsmanlike they are, but today the program has become more realistic. This morning, the Kings will visit a meeting of Spanish and Dutch companies in the cybersecurity and fintech sector in The Hague. There they were met by none other than Prince Constantine. Willem-Alexander’s brother joins part of the morning show.

Government lunch

King Felipe of Spain will also deliver a speech during a government lunch attended by King Willem-Alexander and Deputy Prime Minister Rob Gittin.
