Images of what will become the HTC U23 Pro smartphone have surfaced. A user claims that he bought the phone in a city in China. It appears to be an early prototype of the Android smartphone.
The phone has a plastic body and back, The user is reporting PTT.cc. There are four lenses on the back and the text mentions no less than a 108MP camera. Presumably, this is the primary camera resolution. There are no other details about the camera.
The screen is an OLED of unknown size with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The soc is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 from last year, supported by 8GB of working memory and 256GB of storage. There is a fingerprint scanner in the power button. In addition to the USB-C port, charging can also be done via wireless charging. The battery capacity is 4600 mAh.
With the use of soc, it appears to be a mid-range phone. HTC hasn’t made phones itself for years, but has outsourced design and production to other companies. HTC reportedly had more of a say in this phone than many other recent phones in the Desire and Wildfire ranges.
