Monster Hunter Rise Expansion Coming June 30th for Nintendo Switch and PC – Games – News

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released on June 30th for Nintendo Switch and PC. The paid expansion for Monster Hunter Rise was announced last December, but an exact release date has yet to be announced.

Capcom gave Tuesday Online presentation about expansion. In it, the developer shows, among other things, new environments, characters and monsters that the dlc contains. Additionally, Capcom has stated that it will be rolling out a free update to Monster Hunter Rise on Tuesday that will provide two new armors. To play the DLC upon release, players must have reached Rank 7 and completed the Serpent Goddess of Thunder Hub quest.

Capcom also mentioned that a 13GB update will be rolling out with the expansion release. Players will receive this update regardless of whether or not they have purchased Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The update adds item packs, the ability to change the appearance of your avatar, and changes to weapon stats, among other things. Update installation required to play Monster Hunter Rise online.

The standard version of the expansion for Switch and PC costs 40 euros. There is also a “luxury” version, which costs about 50 euros. The deluxe pack includes different types of weapon and armor skins.
