Mia Nicolay and Dionne Cooper Are So Excited, Songfestival Organizing Talk Goosebumps Rehearsal | Eurovision Song Contest

After their first rehearsal on Monday, Mia and Dion were allowed to go on stage for the second time in Liverpool on Wednesday afternoon. On the organization’s live blog, you can read that it’s “a completely different experience on the big screen.” There is even talk of a goosebump moment. The idea for the work comes from Duncan Lawrence and Jordan Garfield.

Pictures released online Wednesday night show Mia and Dion singing to each other on a rotating platform. The camera pans around the two, seeing Mia’s appearance in one and Dionne in the other. This is also why they seem to be walking in their own place. A bright light can be seen in the background. The two voices are pure in the half-minute video.

On the Eurovision Song Contest’s TikTok channel, Mia and Dion held a Q&A with fans after their rehearsal. The two came bouncing. “Mia and I were just talking about how crazy this is on a scale of one to ten. It’s really unrealistic,” Dion replies. Mia is also excited. “I could do this for the rest of my life. As far as I’m concerned, we’ll be participating in every country in the coming years.”

In conversation, the music duo also indicated that they haven’t seen much of Liverpool yet. Presenter Timur Mirosnichenko said that Mia and Dion still had plenty of free time between the semifinals (on Tuesday) and the final (on Saturday). Dion then said confidently: , That’s really true. Then we have some time to catch our breath.” He gave a half wink to signal that they were moving on to the final.

Among the bookmakers, the Netherlands also rose slightly again. The 21st place has now been replaced by the 18th. In addition, the competitor Croatia is somewhat sinking. As a result, a place in the final for Mia and Dion was on the horizon again.
