It seems that the relationship between Britney Spears and her mother Lynn has improved. The singer paid tribute to her “supportive” mother in a letter on Saturday Instagram. Earlier she just said that her mother came up with the idea years ago to put her under supervision.

Spears posts a photo of Selena Gomez, who was a surprise guest last month wedding. The singer wrote in the photo: “I had no idea. I was so happy! She told me three times she wanted me to be happy. My mom wants that too.”

In addition, Spears writes that the paparazzi asked Lynn on the street what she thought of her daughter’s wedding, which she was not invited to. “She said she just wanted me to be happy! Mom and Selena, I’m so happy to have such a supportive family!”

The singer was under the supervision of her father since a mental breakdown in 2008 until November last year. He was responsible for all of her decisions all along. The singer wrote on Instagram last year that her mother came up with the idea. “I’m not going to turn those years back,” she said at the time.

Legally, Spears gets involved in a fight with her mother. Lynn has gone to court because she wants her daughter to pay the costs she incurred in her bankruptcy lawsuit. There is a session on Wednesday.
