Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have returned to America. Several American media reported Thursday that the couple returned to their hometown in California after the funeral of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth last Monday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been in the UK since early September, initially to attend some charity events. Within days of their arrival, Harry’s grandmother’s health deteriorated so much that she passed away at the age of 96 on Thursday, September 8.
In the following days, Harry and his wife spent time with his brother Prince William and Princess Catherine. Two days after the Queen’s death, the four went outside Windsor Castle to see the flowers laid before the Queen and shake hands with the assembled crowd. This is the first time the brothers have been seen together in years.
In total, the pair have been in the UK for less than three weeks. Their children Archie (3) and Lilybet (1) have always stayed at home in Montecito, a town north of Los Angeles.
