Gasoline price has finally fallen | Financial issues

According to the United Consumers Association, the suggested national average retail price for gasoline on Friday could be 1.4 cents lower than today. The last time the price of gasoline fell from day to day was on February 18th. Diesel price is expected to rise slightly.

The organization is based on the recommended prices that five major oil companies give daily to gas stations, which are averaged. The new recommended price for one oil company is still missing, so it’s a temporary estimate.

On Thursday, the suggested national average retail price for gasoline was €2,502 per liter. Diesel price is 2.375 euros per liter and LPG is 1.315 euros. Suggested retail prices usually only charge gas stations along the highway. In other locations, gas stations often offer discounts.

The MSRP downgrade comes in the wake of the sharp drop in oil prices on Wednesday, when there was some optimism about high-level negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. However, the talks in Turkey did not produce a solid result. The price of a barrel of Brent oil, an indicator of oil prices in Europe, among other things, became slightly higher on Thursday evening.
