Cooler Master showcases SFX power supplies with PCIe 5.0 and 80 Plus Platinum connectivity – Computer – News

Cooler Master announces several new sound effects power sources. These devices have 1100W and 1300W capacities and both are 80 Plus Platinum certified and PCIe 5.0 connectivity for GPUs.

Engine V1100 SFX Platinum and V1300 SFX Platinum It measures 100mm in length, 125mm in width and 63.5mm in height and has a 92mm fan. Both PSUs also get PCIe 5.0 connectivity, which is intended for future video cards.

This PCIe 5.0 connector has 16 pins and can deliver a maximum power of 600W, although Cooler Master doesn’t mention any appreciable power to connect to its new power supplies. To be clear, the 12-pin connector that Nvidia uses for some GeForce RTX 30 Founders Editions is just as good as 450W. Power supplies also receive three 6+2-pin connections for video cards, two EPS connections for CPUs, a 24-pin ATX connector and three SATA connections.

The power supplies are also 80 Plus Platinum certified, which means the power supply must provide at least 92 percent efficiency at 50 percent. Pregnancy† Manufacturer also states a 10 year warranty. Cooler Master makes Plus larger SFX-L variants of the available V1100 and V1300, which otherwise appear to have the same specs. Power supplies are supplied with an ATX converter, so they can be installed in ordinary enclosures. Cooler Master has yet to announce the cost of the power supply or when it will be released.
