Right after Duke’s 107-81 victory against The Citadel, Castleberry gave an update on Baucom.

He’s as good as can be, he’s in good spirits,” Castlebury said in his post-match press conference.

The Citadel set a new record with 18 three-pointers in a losing attempt, the most ever by an opponent inside Cameron Indoor. The 81 points was the most Duke had allowed at home against a non-conference opponent since Illinois scored 83 a season ago.

Baukum has been the coach of the castle since 2015 when he is 67-119 years old. He pulled off his first winning season with the school and led the team to the start of the season 3-1 through the 2021-22 season.
