Blur returns to Holland after twenty years. It was announced on Wednesday that the British rock group will be performing at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on June 27. Ticket sales will begin on Friday.
The band, known for hits like Song 2 And boys girls, grew to become one of the most successful British pop groups of the 1990s. popularity Song 2 It grew even more because it was associated as a soundtrack to the popular soccer game Fifa 98. Blur’s latest album is The magic whip It dates back to 2015. Since then, frontman Damon Albarn has focused on other projects such as his solo career and virtual band Gorillaz.
The last time Blur performed in the Netherlands was in 2003 at the Pepsi Theatre, a former event complex on Johan Cruijff Street in Amsterdam.
