Get excited: The Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix starts at Bellator 292 on Friday.
A pair of quarter-final fights served as the main event and co-main event, with lightweight Bellator champion Usman Nurmagomedov defending his title for the first time against Benson Henderson and Taufik Musayev taking on Alexander Chablis.
It also featured a rematch between heavyweights Valentin Moldavsky and Linton Vassell. At Bellator 218 nearly two years ago, he defeated the Fedor Emelianenko-trained fighter Vassell by unanimous decision. Rounding out the main sheet is Michael Page versus Goiti Yamauchi in a potential #1 contender at welterweight.
But before we get to those fights, we have a few preliminary actions to watch for. Bellator 292 kicks off with a YouTube livestream of the initial card, which can be watched here at 7pm EST / 4pm PT. We’re moving to the main card on Showtime at 10pm EST / 7pm PT.
