American actress Gwyneth Paltrow is not guilty of a skiing accident that injured one person. A jury ruled that it could not be proven that Paltrow hit the 76-year-old and that she was not at fault.
It was the 50-year-old actress who beat him in the 2016 race at a ski resort in Utah, said retired ophthalmologist Terry Sanderson. He suffered broken ribs and brain injuries and says he is still suffering from them. So he asked her for $300,000.
On the contrary, Paltrow said that it was Sanderson who bumped into her while skating. She demanded a symbolic sum of one dollar.
After three hours of deliberation, the jury unanimously found Sanderson guilty of the accident. Therefore, Paltrow was given $1 for Sanderson to pay, plus legal fees.
As she left the courtroom, the actress turned to Sanderson to say something to him. He later said she wished him well.
The trial lasted two weeks, and was widely reported by the US media.
