Yes and no, I get your point, but after AC 3 they did it themselves. The first 5 games were all related to the Ancestors/Animus, then after 3 they tried something different in the modern timeline it became a bigger game, and after Syndicate they switched to an RPG style game. By the way, I didn’t say that the latter was bad. The RPG elements were good, but it wasn’t Assassin’s Creed. After they’ve maintained that for 7 years, think for a moment: Here, something for you too (OG gameplay). My question mark with this game is the gameplay itself. Nothing really seems to have changed after 8 years since the last non-RPGAC. In response to your comment: there is no update at all..
By the way, all this criticism from people is not aimed at the developers. For the arrogant and greedy big companies, the games want to milk them as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this is at the cost of the developers’ blood, sweat, and tears.

The comment on Ubisoft is justified. Now you try to point your finger at a shape: It’s never good, you’re always complaining! But take a look at Ubisoft’s games. Almost every game is almost the same in terms of world, style and feel. As a paying customer, I think it’s okay to swipe.

Plus: Now more than ever, it’s justified that there’s more criticism from the public. Almost every major release released in 2023 so far is riddled with bugs, glitches, and half-baked games.
