It seems that former US President Donald Trump will contest the presidential election again in 2024. In a speech at a conservative gathering, he hinted at participating again. It’s no secret that the former president wants to be president of the United States again in 2024.
“We’re going to have to do it again,” Trump said at the conference. He is yet to announce whether he is actually running for the nomination. But earlier he also hinted about participating in the elections. Trump then declared, “He’s the one who’s got to save the country.”
Trump appears to be the most popular candidate among Republicans
If the former president does indeed have a shot at the presidency, he has a good chance of at least winning against a Republican. According to a poll, he is the most popular candidate in the Conservative Party. It is not known if he will face incumbent President Biden or another Democratic candidate.
Trump is the first choice of at least 69 percent of Republicans. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis follows with 24 percent of the vote. In a scenario where Trump is not running for president, DeSantis is the obvious choice with 65 percent of the vote. In that case, Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. Should be the second choice of voters.

The former president delivered the closing remarks at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference of leading Republican conservatives in Dallas. Trump often makes dramatic statements at the conference. He said in an earlier version earlier this year He is against Putin’s attack on Ukraine. In a speech this weekend, Donald Trump listed all of his supporters’ victories ahead of the House midterm elections later this year. “This will continue until there is unstoppable movement by November 2024.”
During the midterm elections, all 435 seats in the US House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the US Senate were up for grabs.
