Life simulation game The Sims 4 will soon add the ability to customize Sims’ sexual orientation. Create-a-Sim can now indicate the person your Sim is romantically and/or sexually attracted to.

EA . announces The Sims 4 is getting an update to make the game more comprehensive. A new feature lets you decide who is attracted to your Sim. Romantic relationships with a Sim of the same sex have always been possible, but romantic interactions by Sims who do not meet the specified attraction settings will now be rejected by the Sim. The update is free for all Sims players.

Not only will it be possible to determine if Sim is interested in men or women, there will also be an option to select if Sim is open for romantic communication and/or oh, yes! Non-binary Sims doesn’t exist yet. According to developer Maxis, this has to do with technical limitations. Earlier it was already possible Sims’ pronouns changeAlbeit only in English for now.

Update It also enters into the formation of body hair. However, owners of the upcoming expansion for high school years will have more options. It becomes possible to add hair on the chest, abdomen, arms, legs and back. It is then possible to adjust the body hair to grow slowly over time. Shaving becomes a new option to play.

The Sims 4 is now almost eight years old and continues to receive updates and new content. The new update will be released later this month, along with the expansion of the high school years. In this expansion, Sims can take lessons at Copperdale High and participate in after-school activities like rugby and cheerleading. High school ends with a graduation party. The high school years cost €39.99 and will be released on July 28.
