Nio is implementing the ET5 price cut in the Netherlands. The electric sedan will be €1,200 less expensive across the board, and will now start at around €63,000.
The ET5 is one of three electric models that China’s Nio carries in the Netherlands. The sedan is for sale in the Netherlands including a battery, but you can also buy it through build where you pay a monthly amount for the battery pack. The Nio ET5 will immediately be €1,200 less expensive in the Netherlands.
As before, the Nio ET5 is available in two variants. The 4.79-meter-long sedan always has two electric motors that together deliver 490 horsepower. You can choose between a 75 kWh battery and a 100 kWh battery. With the smallest package, the Chinese have a range of 456 kilometers. Nio squeezes a maximum of 590 electric kilometers from its 100 kWh battery. The ET5 with 75 kWh battery previously – including battery – went for €63,900 in the order books, but now costs €62,700. Prefer to rent an ET5 battery for beginners? Then you lose €50,700 from now on, but then you pay €169 per month for the battery pack.
The Nio ET5 costs €71,700 including the 100kWh battery pack outright. If you go to build the battery rental, you pay 50,700 euros. However, the monthly amount to pay for the battery is 289 euros.

From now on, the Nomi Halo digital assistant is standard and you have to pay an extra 600 euros for the more comprehensive Nomi Mate, the virtual assistant with a face in the center of the dashboard. The electrically deployable towbar (€1,200) is no longer standard. Standard equipment has become more modest, as a result of which prices have decreased slightly.
Fun fact: In China, the Nio comes with the ET5 wagon. It is also interesting for the European market. Nio also supplies the ET7 and EL7 in the Netherlands. Nio also introduced the EC7 and ES8 (EL8) for the European market and AutoWeek recently showed you the first images of the brand new ES6 (EL6) and EC6.
