German artist Niklas, who usually prefers to avoid the media, also allows his heart to speak via Instagram. He writes: My Queen, words cannot describe how much I love you. Our wonderful first year is now over and I can’t wait for the rest of our lives together. Every day with you is like sunrise. Thank you for completing me, supporting me, pushing me to my best, and balancing my craziness with my love. You are the best thing that ever happened to me.

But despite the kind words, the lovebirds aren’t celebrating their special day together this year, as Sylvie previously said:

The wedding took place last year in Florence, where the presenter gifted her brother Daniel and his husband. Damien, son of Sylvie with Raphael van der Vaart, also played a role in the wedding. The ceremony was held in a luxury hotel in the Italian city. During the day, the police had to intervene. There were a lot of photographers around the bush near the building. The officers came to have a look, but did not interfere.

Sylvie’s parents were not present at the wedding due to Corona’s measures. There was a private stream available for them so they could hear and see their selfie saying “yes”.
