Spotify has removed all of Lil Kleine’s music from its editorial playlists. These are playlists created by the streaming service itself in which music is directed to the listener. Wilbert Motsiers, Head of Spotify Benelux, confirmed that the rapper’s music can still be heard on his Spotify page.
Spotify will not comment further on the decision. Lil Kleine is one of the most popular Dutch artists on the streaming service. his album Ibiza stories It came at number one on most streaming albums last week.
The rapper is sitting right now still stuck† Lil Klein was arrested last night on suspicion of assault, two days after he was sentenced by a judge to 120 hours of community service for kicking a man in a nightclub. Pictures have been circulating on social media, in which Lil Klein appears to be pulling a woman – possibly his girlfriend Jimmy Weiss – by her hair from the car. Police said this afternoon that it was not clear when the rapper would be released.
TopNotch, the company with which Lil Klein presented his latest album, could not be reached today for comment. His administration and his lawyer also declined to comment. Sony Music, the company that Lil Kleine will work with after this record, is considering a statement of the situation.

Radio station FunX previously indicated that it will not be playing any of the rappers’ music at this time. “Once again, news about an artist has caused such strong reactions from our audience which is why we have decided, in consultation with broadcasters, not to include Lil Kleine’s music in NPO FunX playlists at this time,” a company spokesperson said.
Other NPO radio stations, Talpa radio stations, 100% NL and SLAM FM, did not have to decide on this, because their playlists did not contain music for the singer. FunX has not previously played music from the rapper due to the alleged abuse of his girlfriend in Ibiza.

Jim Bakum, Anouk, Olcay Goulsen, Kim Finstra, Laura Janssen and Milyoshka Wittzenhausen make their voices heard. The latter wrote on Instagram: “We can’t avoid this. We knew last time. This afternoon, Quinn Van Dyck – a good friend of Jimmy Weiss known as the influencer Quinn Kardashian – also responded to the news about Lil Klein. “Dear Jimmy, despite always trying to be there for you through the good times and the bad, I didn’t always know how,” he wrote. There is no evidence for this. The beast you’ve been dealing with for the past few years is finally over. And I give you that.
