Xi will also want to talk to American businessmen about the rising tensions between China and the United States in economic areas and other issues. Ahead of the APEC summit, a meeting involving top officials from oil giant ExxonMobil, software maker Microsoft and pharmaceutical giant Pfizer has been arranged.
