Razer introduces the Chroma phone cooler. This fan is intended to cool smartphones and contains RGB LEDs. The fan manufacturer provides MagSafe support for iPhones or a separate “clip on” for other phones. The cost of the fan is 70 euros.
Razer reports on its website The Phone Cooler Chroma has a seven-blade fan operating at a maximum of 6400 rpm, with a “quiet sound profile” of 30 dB. The housing is also equipped with an aluminum cooling block. However, the company did not mention the cooling performance on its website. Users can connect the fan to their smartphone via Bluetooth, thus adjusting the fan’s settings and controlling twelve built-in RGB LEDs. Phone Cooler Chroma also has an on/off button. The fan does not have a built-in battery, but it works via USB-C. The fan comes with a 1.5m long USB cable.
Razer releases two variants of the smartphone fan. The company comes with a custom MagSafe version for the Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series. The manufacturer also offers a “universal version” with a clip-on, which allows the fan to be attached to older iPhones and Android devices. Both options cost 70 euros in Europe. The fan is already available on the Razer website.
