PEC Zwolle says goodbye to Shardy Landau and Tomislav Mrkonjic. The two players have reached an agreement with PEC Zwolle regarding the termination of their contracts. The club are still in talks with Stijn Meijer about his departure.

Both players still had a contract until mid-2024, but they no longer had any prospect of playing. Landu (22) has played for PEC Zwolle since 2016, first as a youth player and later in the first team. Many Premier League clubs are interested in the striker.

Mrkonjic (29) came from Slovenia’s NK Radomlje last summer. The Croatian started the season as a regular starter, but was told during the winter break that he could leave.

Stijn Meijer (23) came from FC Dordrecht last summer, but has not yet played due to a knee injury. In the second half of the season he was leased to the German SC Verl. He may also leave, but PEC Zwolle has not yet agreed to terminate his contract, which also runs until mid-2024. Meagher will not be present for the first training sessions on Tuesday.
