According to the board, Altman “was not consistently forthright in his communications with the board, which hindered the board’s ability to carry out its responsibilities.” The board did not cite any examples and Altman himself was also vague about his departure. OpenAI has been temporarily taken over by Mira Moratti. She was already the Director of Technical Affairs within the company.
