Motorola will release three inexpensive smartphones. The new models under the Moto G series all cost less than €200. Devices can expand working memory through “RAM Boost”, where the internal memory is used as virtual memory.
Motorola releases, among other things, the Moto G04. This model is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor. There will be two models available, with 4GB and 8GB of memory. This is possible through “Virtual RAM Boost” According to Motorola be doubled. The device then uses the internal storage as virtual memory, reducing the standard 64GB storage space. Memory can be expanded using a memory card.
The smartphone has a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side. The device also has a 16-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor on the back. And a 5-megapixel camera.
The Moto G04 is the cheapest of the three new models. This smartphone costs €119.99 and will be launched on February 12.
G24 and G24 power
The other two models, the Moto G24 and Moto G24 Power, get a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Just like the Moto G04, both the smartphones are equipped with 4GB of RAM. However, they get more raises. The Moto G24 gets 128GB of storage, and the Power variant has 256GB.
Both devices have a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The main camera is 50MP, just like the G04, supported by a 2MP macro sensor. There is an 8-megapixel front camera.
A big difference between the Moto G24 and Moto G24 Power is the battery. The first device has a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at 15W. The Moto G24 Power has a 6,000mAh battery, which can be charged at 30W.
Both devices will be released on January 29. The standard model costs 129.99 euros. The Moto G24 Power costs €179.99. The three new devices come with Android 14 as standard, but it is not known how long support will last.
