Singer Mart Hogkammer and rapper Donnie are this year’s winners of the Puma NL Awards, which were presented this afternoon at Tivolfriedenburg in Utrecht. Both artists won a single award. In addition, they were both rewarded in the “Most Successful Pub” category with their song Bieber from the bar.

Donnie, whose real name is Donald Sklowski, won the “Most Successful Song” award with Rene Froger (with the song caught bon). Hoogkamer also won in the “Best Live Show” category. The latter award was awarded for the first time this year.

It was also the first time that the Buma NL Awards focused entirely on Dutch language music.

Oeuvre Prize and Album

The Oeuvre Award for Composer or Writer, the Buma NL Lifetime Achievement Award, this year went to songwriter and producer Ad Kraamer. He worked with André van Duin, Deurzakkers, Koos van Beurden, and Guus Meeuwis, among others.

Singer Django Wagner also won the awards for the most successful album with his record Beautiful rough night and previously The Voice Kids-candidate Cinnamon tree. She could call herself the greatest talent.

The Buma NL Awards were presented for the thirteenth time this year. Nominations are determined based on sales, download and streaming numbers. Last year, awards were given to Susan, Frick, Snelly, Maan and DJ Tiësto. Previous business awards went to Ilse de Lange and Peter Koelewijn.
