Smartphone maker Honor has announced the launch of Honor 70, 70 Pro and 70 Pro+ in China. Pro and Pro + are the same in cameras and screen, but differ mainly in the choice of soc and price. The Honor 70 is a cheaper model.
All three phones It has the same design and main camera with new sensor Sony IMX800. This is a 54MP camera with a size of 1 micron. The optical size of the sensor is 1/1.49″, representing an area of about 54 square millimeters. The ultra-wide-angle camera has a 50-megapixel sensor. The Pro and Pro+ both have a telephoto camera; the Honor 70 has this not.
There is also a difference in the front cameras. The Honor 70 has a 32-megapixel sensor, and both the Pro and Pro + have a 50-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide-angle lens with a field of view of up to 100 degrees. Honor has created a vlog feature so it works like the “Center Stage” feature on iPads. The software zooms in and keeps a person and possibly an object in view while in motion.
The Pro and Pro+ are the largest phones with a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an area of about 111 square centimeters, and the Honor 70 has a slightly smaller screen with a slightly lower resolution.
Honor 70 has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G soc; The Pro and Pro + socs are from MediaTek. Honor has long been a part of Huawei, but since 2020 it’s in the hands of a company Consortium led by Shenzhen government†
