Google adds emoji reactions to Google Meet – Computer – News

Google Meet video chat users will soon be able to use emojis to share reactions during video calls. The emoji appears as a badge on the left side of the contact’s video panel during video calls.

Multiple emoji responses at once will show the responses overlaid on the left side of the Google Meet user interface. Users can provide an emoji response by clicking the emoji icon on the Google taskbar. This bar is at the bottom of the Google Meet user interface. It will also be possible to change the skin color of some emojis. It becomes the choice that the user makes in it According to Google It applies to all other emojis where this option applies.

Google Meet video call organizers and Google Workspace group admins can disable the feature if they see fit. Google users with a personal account can currently use the feature. The feature will roll out to business users in the coming weeks. The feature can be used in the Google Meet web app, on Google devices and also on iOS devices.
