Fans and friends of Fred van Leer will have to wait another year to celebrate the designer’s birthday with him. On Instagram, Fred announced on Wednesday that Fred and Friends’ party, which was scheduled for mid-September, has been postponed to next year.
Fred’s birthday is on September 18 and he wanted to celebrate it on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September with a party in Rotterdam Ahoy. Because of Corona, it was not possible to hold this event last year, but there was no party at it this year either.
“The new dates for Fred & Friends are Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18, 2022,” says the designer. People who purchased a ticket to the event can still enter next year.
It was previously announced that Vengaboys, Lee Towers, Glennis Grace, Rolf Sanchez and Edsilia Rombley, among others, will perform at Fred’s birthday party. The designer loves it. “The show is very solid and we can’t wait for it to get that far.”
