Bishop Sycamore Soccer coach Terryn Jackson has been outspoken about the controversial “school” amid criticism of the team’s performance last month and the fallout from the drama.
Jackson, who recently became a soccer coach after former coach Roy Johnson reportedly had an active warrant for his arrest and was involved in a civil lawsuit, NBC Columbus On Monday, Bishop Sycamore did not “provide a syllabus”.

“We’re not a school,” Jackson told the station. “That’s not what Bishop Sycamore is, and I think that’s the biggest misunderstanding about us, and that was our fault. Because that was a mistake in the papers.”
He said he knew nothing of the school’s address and had no answers when asked about Bishop Sycamore’s standing with the Ohio Department of Education.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has called on the state’s Department of Education to investigate the school for possible wrongdoing. Jackson said he would cooperate with the investigation.

The remaining competitors in Bishop Sycamore’s schedule withdrew from their encounters.
