ASUS introduces two new ROG phones: ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Both phones show great similarities with the current ROG Phone 6 series, but they get Dimensity 9000 Plus soc. The final variant also gets a more extensive cooling system.

This cooling system can be attached to the back of the phone and can cool the smartphone’s internal cooling block by automatically opening the air inlet. The phones are almost identical to the current ROG Phone 6 hardware. The 6D variants again get a 6.75-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The 6000 mAh battery with 60W fast charging support also remains unchanged. The housing itself remains unchanged. The phones run just like the current ROG Phone 6 series on the ROG UI, which is based on Android 12.

ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will soon be available in Europe and will have a suggested retail price of 1399 euros. The regular ROG Phone 6D gets a suggested retail price of €949. For this amount, ASUS offers a variant with 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage.
