Figures from the National Coordination Center for Patient Proliferation (LCPS) show that 305 people infected with Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, were in intensive care units in the Netherlands on Sunday. That’s 17 more than on Saturday. In total, there were 26 new registrations of corona patients on integrated circuits.

There are now 1,185 coronavirus patients in nursing wards, an increase of 74 from the day before. In all, 162 new corona patients were admitted to the nursing wards.

Once again, many people have been vaccinated against corona without an appointment

In recent days, relatively many have been hit by Corona strikes in places where it is possible without an appointment. GGD GHOR Nederland reports that on Saturday, 10,424 people received an unappointed injection at a free site, and there were 10,189 on Friday.

On Wednesday, that number was even higher: On that day, about 13,000 people vaccinated themselves without an appointment. Before that, the peak was 8000 people in one day. On Thursday there was also a relatively large number of people who vaccinated themselves without an appointment. Then their number was about 9000 people.

Just like Thursday and Wednesday, more people scheduled their vaccination against the virus on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, there were 13,962 new appointments for the first time, on Saturday at 13,148. In recent weeks, the average number of people per day has been 10,000.
