From now on, customers will travel on the train from Eindhoven to Werth. According to the railway union VVMC, this is one of the measures that are being taken to prevent inconvenience caused by AZC asylum seekers in Boudl. According to trade union leader Wim Eilert, additional security guards will also be hired at the station in Maresi for the same reason.
Late Tuesday evening, Eilert heard about these new procedures from NS, he told the Wakker! From Umrob Brabant.
“Rational steps,” says Eilert. The police officers on the train are particularly important to the sense of security. Not only railway employees, but also travelers. “We want them to go home safely,” he says.
Which is why in his words, “You can’t be too careful.” He then refers to an incident in Eddy where two groups of asylum seekers attacked each other recently on a train.
On Tuesday it became clear that NS staff are fed up with the inconvenience asylum seekers are causing at Maarheeze station. Then Eilert points out that the bucket is overflowing. Therefore, the NS was asked to take new measures. He pointed out that “passing the station is also a procedure.”
Late Tuesday evening, he received a response from NS announcing the new procedures.
