According to the railway union VVMC, this is one of the measures that are being taken to prevent inconvenience caused by AZC asylum seekers in Boudl. According to trade union leader Wim Eilert, additional security guards will also be hired at the station in Maresi for the same reason.

On Tuesday it became clear that NS staff are fed up with the inconvenience asylum seekers are causing at Maarheeze station. Then Eilert points out that the bucket is overflowing. Therefore, the NS was asked to take new measures. He pointed out that “passing the station is also a procedure.”
