Lots of scrapping and price increases
Mercedes-Benz is removing all diesel engines from the B-Class delivery range. Additionally, it omits the different versions and drivers, but also adds quite a few new ones. This is accompanied by higher prices. In the worst case scenario, the B-class will be €16,000 more expensive.

So far, the range of B-Class deliveries has been quite wide, but with one smooth jerk, the Dutch importer removes all diesels from the price list. This means that the B180 d, B200 d and B220 d will disappear along with the 4Matic versions of the 200d and 220d. In addition, Mercedes-Benz draws a line with the cheapest versions of various engine versions. Only the smallest petrol engine, the 136 hp B180, retains its Business Line trim, but it will be 4,500 euros more expensive and will now cost 47,118 euros. In addition, the B250 e plug-in will have a Business Line version. The B250 e costs 51,314 euros as a new business line. The B250 e plug-in hybrid will be €3,500 and €1,600 more expensive respectively as the Luxury Line and AMG Line.
Are there more disappearances? Believes. The Luxury Line edition is now reserved for the B180, B200 and the B250 e-hybrid. These variants increase in price sequentially at €5,200, €4,600 and €3,500. The B200 with 4Matic drive completely disappears. The same applies to the B250 without the 4Matic engine, which is now only available with all-wheel drive and is also much more expensive. Its starting price rises by around 16,000 euros to 76,365 euros. We’re talking about a 27 percent price increase. Mercedes-Benz introduces a new type of engine for the B-class. From now on, the spacious Benz will also be available with the 190-horsepower B220. It always has 4Matic all-wheel drive and is by definition styled as the AMG line. It costs 76,365 euros.

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class facelift also brings novelties. The B250 e plug-in hybrid will have a greater electric range, among other things. Mercedes-Benz is also improving on the standard equipment of the B-Class. Standard equipment includes a rear camera and head-up displays, a Nappa leather steering wheel, a “Parking Package”, a “Mirror Package” and the EasyPack tailgate.
