According to co-founder and owner of Androidworld, Dimitry Vleugel, publisher eMense focuses less and less on technology, which is why the two parties decided to part ways at the end of last year.

My topic again:
But that’s less about the technology, in fact it seemed to me visually on the Androidworld website. I started reading there around 2010/2011 with my first Android smartphone. Until sometime in 2018/19 when the latest articles were no longer always tech, I could often find all the news back on The Verge, Android Police, or other tech sites. The quality of the responses also became less substantial (like Facebook) and when they removed the forum where the real technical help was shared, that was also a reason for me to delete my account. Now if you look and compare androidworld/planet, you won’t actually find much difference for the Dutch market.
Yes, it’s a shame and I’m also all for competition (it’s still a shame that hardware information is gone), but if you really want to compete against each other as an Android news site, you really have to be able to offer a different experience.
