People Can Fly, the developer behind Outriders and Gears of War: Judgment, is working on a new game in collaboration with Microsoft. The title will be codenamed Project Maverick and will be based on the Xbox franchise. More details are not yet known.

People Can Fly has also worked on Bulletstorm in the past. The studio’s latest game, co-op shooter Outriders, will be released in 2021 and will be published by Square Enix. In 2020, the studio said it was working on a “very ambitious action-adventure game” for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S. Little has been heard about that title since then. In September, it was announced that the company would no longer work with publisher Take-Two.
