2023 NFL Playoffs Picture, Standings After Week 17: Cowboys take control of NFC East;  Ravens, 49ers clinch top seeds

With one week left in… NFL In the regular season, the playoff races are as wild and confusing as ever. Both the AFC and NFC entered Week 17 with 12 teams still mathematically alive. Entering Week 18, the AFC still has three playoff berths available. The AFC East title showdown between the Bills and Dolphins highlights the event. In the NFC, there are six teams competing for the final two spots.

Below, the playoffs for each team will be explained. Here are the details of the current standings and what each competitor is up against.

What does it lead to? Known: The Ravens clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC by defeating the Dolphins in Week 17. They advanced to the first round.

Miami Dolphins

what do you know: Miami is still the No. 2 seed in the AFC despite losing to Baltimore. The Dolphins will play the Bills for the AFC East title next week.

Indianapolis Colts

what do you know: The Colts currently sit in seventh place in the AFC after their win over the Raiders, holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Texans (No. 8) and Steelers (No. 9). Indianapolis and Houston will play next week to keep the season alive, with a Colts win clinching a playoff spot.
