Xiaomi has created a new version of its compact Redmi Pad SE. It is 8.7 inches in size and costs 150 euros. The device has a 6650 mAh battery and a 90 Hz screen.
Xiaomi owns Redmi Pad SE 8.7 has been listed on its web storeThis is a smaller version of the Redmi Pad SE that was released last year. That device still had an 11-inch display, but the new one is much smaller at 8.7 inches.
The LCD display has a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels with an aspect ratio of 5:3. The display has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, although according to the manufacturer this only applies to supported apps. Furthermore, the display has a maximum brightness of 600 cd/m2, and the entire tablet has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.41 percent. The tablet measures 211.58 x 125.48 x 8.8 mm and weighs 373 grams.
The device packs 4GB of Lpddr4x memory and 64GB or 128GB of storage under the hood. There will also be a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, but that is not available on the web store. Additionally, a micro SD card is installed in the tablet to expand the storage space to a maximum of 2TB. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with a Mali G52 IPU. The tablet has an 8MP camera and a 3.5mm jack.
The tablet’s battery is 6650 mAh. The device can charge at 18W, but Xiaomi only includes a 10W adapter in the box. The device costs 149.90 euros.
