The next smartphone from the Dutch company Fairphone may be called the Fairphone 4 5G. This is according to certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. It is not yet known when the device will be launched and what it will cost.

The certificate also has some specific specifications. For example, it is not known which soc modem or which 5G modem the Fairphone 4 5G will receive. Documents from the Wi-Fi Alliance say it’s a Qualcomm chip, but don’t mention a model. Fairphone also used Qualcomm socs for earlier smartphones. The Fairphone 4 5G will also receive Android 11 upon release.
