Sony bought the international rights to the film Bodies, bodies, bodiesDirector Halina Rinne’s international debut. The major American film company will show the film in cinemas around the world. Reijn announced this today.
It’s so special that Sony shoots a Dutch movie in this way. Bodies, bodies, bodies It revolves around a group of wealthy people in their twenties who are completely out of control. The main roles are performed by Pete Davidson, Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova and Mihala Herold.
In March of this year, the thriller premiered at the SXSW American Film Festival. As a result, the film is rated positively by 95 percent of reviewers on the review site Rotten Tomatoes. This is a very good result however the movie has been declared “new”. Bodies, bodies, bodys in US cinemas from early August.
It is not yet known when the film will be released in the Netherlands. The thriller is Reijn’s second film. In 2019, she made her first appearance Instinct Carice van Houten and Marwan Kenzari played the main roles. At the time, the film was submitted as an entry for the Dutch Academy Award for Best Foreign Film, but was dropped in the preliminaries.
