Sonos announces Sonos Ace. The headphones work wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 or wired via USB-C and support active noise cancellation. The headphones will be available from June 5 for 499 euros in black and white.

The audio branding is focused on Ace In their own words In the home theater experience. The Sonos Ace supports Dolby Atmos, among other things, and should emulate a surround sound system thanks to TrueCinema technology. The TVs can also transmit audio to headphones over WiFi with “suitable Sonos speakers,” though the company didn’t clarify which speakers are in question. In addition to active noise cancellation, the headphones also support a transparency mode that the brand calls Aware.

According to the audio brand, the Ace’s battery should last up to 30 hours with ACN enabled. The headphones can be charged within three minutes using the included USB-C cable for three hours of use. The earcups are equipped with 40mm drivers and eight microphones. Sonos has integrated a metal volume control button and slider into the right earcup. It is also notable that the headband is made of stainless steel.
