Sennheiser launches Accentum Wireless headphones with up to 50 hours of battery life – Image and Sound – News

Sennheiser advertises the Accentum Wireless at a suggested retail price of €179.90. According to the audio brand, the headphones have a battery life of up to fifty hours and support hybrid active noise cancellation. The headset will be available from October 4.

Sennheiser promises Accentum Wireless users can listen to music for fifty hours on a full battery. This applies if the headphones are connected via Bluetooth and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is enabled. And with the fast charging function, another five hours should be added within ten minutes. The 800 mAh battery is supposed to be fully charged within three hours. Charging is done via the USB-C port, which can also be used to use wired headphones. There is support for Bluetooth 5.2 and multipoint connectivity.

In terms of design, the new Accentum product line is based on the more expensive Momentum series. The new over-ear headphones feature a similar minimalist design and are also available in white and black. Users can control the headphone using the four buttons on the right ear cup or via the Smart Control app.

The Accentum Wireless has drivers that are 37mm in diameter and have a range between 10Hz and 22kHz. Both ear cups have a “covered microphone” for what Sennheiser calls “hybrid active noise cancellation.” ANC works with passive isolation of microphones while actively filtering out ambient noise. The audio brand also says that a special wind restriction mode is available during phone calls.
