Samsung has announced suggested retail prices for its range of TVs for 2022. Among other things, the company is launching new Neo QLED TVs with small LED backlights. The cheapest model of this model gets a 43-inch screen with 4K resolution and costs 1499 euros.
Samsung posts Including suggested retail prices for the Neo QLED 8K series with mini LED backlight. These TVs get 8k resolution, as the name suggests. Samsung launches Neo QLED 8K TVs in variants ranging from 65″ to 85″ with sales prices between 3999 and 9999 euros.
The Neo QLED 4K series will be available in image sizes from 43″ to 85″. Suggested retail prices in this series range from 1499 to 5999 euros, depending on the model and screen diagonal. Some Neo QLED 4K variants receive a refresh rate of 144Hz. Models in the lower-ranked QN85B series and Neo QLED 8K TVs get a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Samsung wrote in a press release that the new TVs are “available in the Netherlands from now on”. Neo QLED 4K TVs are now also available on the Samsung website† The new Neo QLED 8K models are not available at the time of writing.
The manufacturer is also releasing new QLED 4K, Crystal UHD and Lifestyle TVs with LCD panels and also shares recommended prices. New QLED 4K TVs will cost from 899 to 3999 euros, while Crystal UHD TVs will be available between 649 and 2499 euros.
The company also offers new versions of The Frame with a matte screen, which again resembles a painting and will be available in versions from 32″ to 85″, priced between 699 and 4,699 euros. The Sero, which can be tilted to a vertical position, will receive a new model that will cost 1,599 euros. This year Serif will be available in image sizes from 43″ to 65″, with suggested retail prices from €1,199 to €1,999. The new 100-inch Freestyle projector will cost a maximum of 999 euros.
