Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be released at the end of December for 229 euros – tablets and phones – news

Samsung introduces a new version of the Galaxy Tab. The Tab A8 has a slightly larger 10.5-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10, but the screen resolution is slightly lower than its predecessor, and the Android tablet costs 229 euros.

According to Samsung, the Tab A8 has a processor that is 10 percent faster than the previous one, but the manufacturer has not specified which chip is in the tablet. The previous model still had the Snapdragon 662, but the current processor is known to be an octa-core clocked at 2GHz. It is known that the tablet comes as a 3GB RAM option with 32GB storage, or as a 4GB model with 64GB or 128GB storage. There is also a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The A8 has a 5MP front camera and a single camera with an 8MP sensor on the back. The tablet has a 7040mAh battery that can charge at 15W fast speed. The device also has a 3.5mm jack, as well as a USB-C port.

The tablet is available with WiFi or LTE and a suggested retail price starts at €229. The tablet runs Android 11 and will be released in the Netherlands at the end of December.
