Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra may charge faster
Samsung smartphones are pretty comprehensive, but they’ve been lacking in one area for years. Devices do not charge as fast as smartphones from brands such as OnePlus, Motorola, Xiaomi, and Oppo. The Galaxy S23 charges at a maximum of 25W, just like its predecessors. Also with Galaxy A phones, the charging speed does not exceed 25W.
Samsung might (finally) make a big move in the charging space next year. According to a new rumor, about anything among others Sammobile He writes, the company plans to test a new battery type. These so-called “stack batteries” perform better and charge faster.
Twitter is delicious RGcloudS Reports indicate that Samsung has increased the maximum charging speed to 65W. This is a huge step forward, especially if you compare it to the current charging speed of the Galaxy S23. The S23 Plus and S23 Ultra can handle a maximum of 45W, but they still take a relatively long time to fully charge.
It’s also unclear which Galaxy S24 smartphones will soon be able to charge at 65W. It may just be about the S24 Plus and S24 Ultra, and the entry-level model will still have to contend with less impressive charging speeds.
